When: Biweekly Tuesdays starting September 22nd through end of school year
Time: 6:30-7:15pm
Location: Heartstring Melodies Toledo Location (4027 N Holland Sylvania Rd, Suite 2)
Learning how to play a musical instrument can be a great source of accomplishment and achievement as it provides immediate feedback regarding progress that’s being made. As an extremely expressive instrument, piano provides opportunities for skill development and emotional expression and regulation! Drawing upon music therapy approaches and techniques, this group will engage participants in learning how to play music in ways that uniquely support any cognitive, physical, sensory, and emotional needs of any participant. Therapeutic Music Skills": Piano Lab is a great introduction to incorporating music into a participant’s day to day life, while also promoting a sense of community as it is taught alongside peers. Pre-registration is required.
